Mark A. DiPisa specializes in the area of public entities. Mr. DiPisa has provided representation to governmental entities in several practice areas. He has served as general counsel to the following municipalities: Rochelle Park, Hasbrouck Heights, Wallington, Aberdeen and Cranford. In this capacity, he was actively involved in all legal issues, including but not limited to labor, local public contracts, general litigation, ACLU claims, Division of Civil Rights matters, and Open Public Records Act claims. He regularly attended council meetings and prepared resolutions and ordinances. Mr. DiPisa was also privileged to serve as general counsel to the Housing Authorities of the City of Paterson and Jersey City. As General Counsel, he represented the Housing Authority’s interests and provided advice on various matters, including contracts, procurement issues, disputes with contractors, general litigation and Civil Rights claims.
